I love giving and receiving compliments. Where's the harm in simply being nice to someone? You never know, it's just might make their day!

I'll compliment someone even if they're miles away or aren't compatible. Mostly get a good reply back but have had some that are just plain rude. I'll always reply to anyone who messages me - it's just common decency! It costs nothing to be polite.

Like others have said, I've met people who I chat with regularly now and would consider them as friends by doing this.

I wouldn’t expect someone to thank me for sending one though. It’s very nice though if they do acknowledge. I wouldn’t expect someone certainly always reply even if it was just to say “thanks”.
