20 30 year old guys

I don't like generalisations about any group, but increasingly I'm finding guys in their 20s 30s so thin skinned when it comes to rejection!

I'm not talking 20 yr olds it's lads who are 26-28 and older.

I'm never rude but the times I get abused or 20 questions about why is surprising to me.

Maybe it's a false perception but I'd be interested to hear the experience from guys who are that age as well as older guys.

Is it just me?

See where you coming from. It may not be rejection, but they want what they want and can't understand when someone say no.

"A lot of older guys can’t handle rejection from my experience "

With respect my post was, about experience younger guys.

Ironically this is kind of what I'm talking about, on the defensive straight way, no thought about the question that was put out there in good faith.

"A lot of older guys can’t handle rejection from my experience "

This is absolutely true.

It's really not an age thing... It's a maturity thing.

Indeed, but avoiding generalisation, it's possibly/probably a lack of maturity issue, not necessarily related to age? 🫤

My lower limit is 35 because I don't need to be dealing with anybody younger than my own kids. I find people in their 30s-40s hard work anyway on the whole, it's the generation that grew up online.

I’m not defensive at all, and I’m also not in the age range you were complaining about, so there’s no need for me to be defensive.

I was giving my opinion, it’s that older men also cannot handle rejection. It’s almost as if it’s a maturity issue rather than an age issue.

And your original post states “are of that age and older guys”, so I gave my opinion on older guys.

That’s an Interesting point.

People that have grown up on line do seem to have a different agenda. Younger guys at work can’t be hard work. I mean, how dare you disagree with one.

I feel good to be rejected because I know who are my friends right from the start and who are not.

Pointless to start a connection if someone doesn't like you.

Ah ok, it's probably how I've phrased the question, I meant get the thoughts about my question from younger and older guys. Sorry

Not just you. The 'entitled generation' are so demanding. Guys forget we have lives outside Fab and everyone has their own personal tastes. Give them 20 years to find out what real life is

I actually just had a moment of clarity and checked my old messages ( should have done that before posting the question, knob head) and every abusive message with one exception, comes from that age group!

The exception...a 19 yr old!!

There's 34 yr old blokes abusing me, it's not personal just a preference,

It's beyond me.

Strangely I find the exact opposite. Older guys are more likely to question me when I tell them thanks but no thanks.

Most of that age range on here are fantastist or narcissistic time wasters. Beg to meet, then don't turn up or don't send final meet details.

Who cares ? Life’s too short ….couldn’t care less about being rejected or rejection by guys I’ve never met, who are by definition Wankers on a Hook Up Site . Time to move on and embrace reality / real people.

Probs best not to generalise. I suppose can be hard not to. But not everyone is a baddun! that being said people close to my age, well less than my age tend to get under my skin. So there’s that. Lol
