Anyone else into watches, not necessarily super expensive ones like Rolex and Omega.

I have 14, two Seikos, one Orient, two Rotary's, two Casio digital, and various others, five are automatics.

The most expensive was the Orient Bambino, £107 seven years ago, the cheapest a Timex wind up my mother won for me at a bingo stall at a fairground in 1978.

I love a G shock, I've got several. Also really want a seiko monster. I have a couple of more expensive ones, including a Breitling although they're a bit brash.

Sounds like you have a lot of time on your hands 🤣

I have a smart watch that keeps an eye on my health, and my late father’s Citizen.

I haven't worn a watch in nearly 20 years. I have a beautiful one that my bought me on our wedding day. I've worn it twice!!

I don't know why I don't wear one except that I find them cumbersome

I like those candy watches.

They look good with a glam outfit, and come in handy later if you're peckish.

Yes. There was a time when, if I’d sold my watches I could have paid my mortgage off.

Still have my 90190 Tudor Submariner. I sold my Rolex 14060 submariner as i wasn’t wearing it and put the money into my pension.

Have others still including a Heuer Monaco and. Pelagos.

Love G-Shocks too,

I've a small collection of Seikos including the SARB065 "cocktail time", and a Japanese SKX007 dive watch. I wear an Apple Watch when I'm doing physical exercise (and at saunas). My everyday watch is a blue Tudor Pelagos which I never tire of looking at.

I was given a Vintage Omega Seamaster for my 21st birthday which I still have but don't wear as it needs servicing...but was quoted £300 !!!!

I have lots of cheap watches from Temu at about £2 each.

When the batteries run out i buy a new watch as its cheaper than replacing the battery .

Have you tried Watch Lab? They replaced the battery in my Seiko for £70 while I did 30 minutes shopping, every other jewelers and watch repair/sales outfit insisted it had to be sent away for 3 weeks, and would cost £150.

Omega Planet Ocean Seamaster

Swatch MoonSwatch

Couple of Seiko (cheap'ish and not so cheap'ish)

And couple of just fun cheap o ones

Did just buy a Bell and Ross 2nd hand but it was faulty so returned it with the option of buying when it's repaired. But I've since been to Bicester and my wardrobe has taken care of that option.

I've owned an RAF navigators' watch bought back in the late 1970s - Exchange & Mart advert.

Cost near-as-dammit £50 - quite a lot back then.

The MOD had contracts with all the top Swiss watch manufacturers - mine is a Jaeger Lecoultre model - several hundred still known in the UK.

One sold on Ebay for £7,500 recently.

Turns out mine is a rare one - the hands are a different shape to the normal ones - could be worth a lot more.

I have a thing for mechanical automatic watches

The complexity of the engineering is beautiful

I started a collection but made myself stop as you can only wear one at a time unless you’re an American General.

I love Seiko for a price quality point and that’s my daily watch others are going out watch and very special occasion

Seiko SARB 0035

Seiko Sports

1969 Omega seamaster deville

Omega seamaster Aqua Terra

Rolex President day date

Pre collection Rotary quartz

I find myself always looking out for what watches people are wearing , though these days the market is flooded with fake Rolexes
