Had a planned meeting with someone we had known for a while via Facebook. Travelled from south Wales to Manchester, but did spend two nights in a hotel with him.

But 'local' meets probably no more than 30 mins drive, but depends what's on offer.

when I was in my early 20's I went to Southampton to meet a lad around same age. It was supposed tp be a weekend meet, he had his pwn place, we'd been talking for weeks and got on great.

Did the grand tour 15 years ago. First went to Japan for the wife and I to stay with an old boyfriend of hers for ten days. Then to Australia to stay two weeks with our best man. Was a very successful sex tour. Both guys very bi so we both enjoyed.

As I only meet at Empire Cinema ( well, 99.99% of the time) I travel alomst 200 miles to get there - for me it is worth it every few weeks, and I realise that this is not the same as travelling to meet a single guy who then turns out to be a no-show....however it does make me laugh when a guy from Leeds or Wakefield ( for example ) says that they would love to meet but it is too far....lol
