What’s your favourite biscuit?

And do you have a weekday biscuit and a weekend treat biscuit?

Does it feel weird eating the foil wrapped ones when it’s not a special occasion?

Do you eat different biscuits depending on whether you’re dunking or not?

Nice! I used to live opposite the mcvities factory and the air smelled amazing when they were cooking ginger nuts. I dip them in hot chocolate.

Oh there are definitely different ones for different occasions.

Cheap and cheerful for everyday like Nice or Digestives (has to be McVities for the latter).

For special occasions, hazelnut and chocolate chip cookies, with proper hazelnut and chocolate chips in them or thick shortbread biscuits, similar to those from M&S, so buttery. Yum!

"Jaffa cakes.. but is it a cake or a biscuit ?"

Legally it is a cake - no VAT on chocolate cake but there is on chocolate biscuits. There is a test that defines if something is a cake or biscuit - the court defined the test when ruling against HMRC over a VAT claim against the manufacturer.
