Has anyone else experienced being ghosted.

You have a good fun meet you verify each other then your messages are not answered just ghosted.

Is this the norm these days

It can happen. Don't let it bother you, you never know what's going on in someone else's mind. And if this is how they treat you, your better off giving them a wide berth!

What makes you think you are entitled to another meet or continuous responses to messages? xx

I think it's more of a fuck and go site really. You do get on with certain people, but if it don't happen, move on is best.

Yep, generally just by someone chatting me up and then going quiet.

Either they've found someone willing to do exactly what they want, when they want and lose interest or just general go quiet.

I think it's a gutless way to avoid saying no longer interested personally. I have no problem saying no thanks. 😂

I was told by a therapist

“You can’t expect people to behave the way you want them to”

I now remember this and just let it go.

Had a regular guy and then one day he just stopped replying. Pity as he was a damn good fucker but I’d still like to know why.

I had a young guy from Derby who'd drive over 1 or 2 times a week for nearly 3 years, sex was amazing, then he just stopped coming. Not heard a peep from him for a couple of years now.

wouldn’t it be tragic if he’d been in a fatal car incident

Well if he was Bi, probably met a woman and couldn’t escape.

The thing is when you lose touch with someone be that after a disagreement or a change in circumstances, the longer things are left the less chance that you will make contact again. So if he got a girlfriend then it ended he probably couldn’t bring himself to come back again.

Poole (central)

Ghosting is just plain rude, and the argument ‘you aren’t entitled to a reply, forget it and move on’ simply normalises and passively approves it, imo. If someone takes the time and trouble to message, a brief ‘no thanks’ is hardly an excessive effort. Basic manners!

Sadly more and more people on here play ghosting games. Inevitably, finding guys genuinely up for meets is quite a challenge in what’s become a free and easy, random contact, anonymous cyber wankers paradise.

You can say that again!🤦🏽‍♂️ - after all that talk about women being difficult or strange [I wouldn't know about that] men ARE indeed strange
