They're so low in fibre, 6 (their recommended daily amount) contains only 3g of fibre, a slice of wholemeal toast contains about 2g.

Considering your meant have at least 30g fibre daily, taking the maximum recommended of H+B capsules contributes only 10% of that

I've never heard of the product but surely a high fibre diet does the same job.

I'm happy to be enlightened further though.

I wouldn't get psyllium husk powder, just normal psyllium husk. No brand necessary, just a plain as plain can be is best.

A tea spoon in cranberry juice & drink it all down quickly, before it swells up to much.

Add a teaspoon of benonite clay too, to get rid of the black stuff build up in your intestines.

Flaxseed (linseed) is almost 30% fibre, over 20% protein and can be bought cheaply and easily in a couple of German supermarket chains?

I buy both the powder and the whole husks from NkdLiving

https://www.nkdliving.com/products/whole-psyllium-husk-500g?variant=32173113344111&selling_plan=713196896639

I put half a teaspoon of the whole husks in my porridge in the morning.

I use the powder in a nut/seed loaf I make every couple of weeks. I have a slice of that every day (it also contains flax seed and chia seed).

Inulin is a lot more palatable. Made from chicory root it dissolves tasteless and colourless in anything.
