Is it just me that checks all the doors are locked more than once? I can never remember if I’ve done it before I go to bed

No. It ain’t just you.

Better to be safe than broken into and murdered.

Doesn't one's Butler do that? It seems rather a chore.

Since my last Butler left my service (just before I woke up) I've had to double check all my own doors.

I live alone but in good habits as I lock all doors behind me. Rarely have to go around rechecking.

Sometimes that idea gets into head and I have too, but not often. 🚪

But have you checked the loft?!?

[I regularly check up there ... Just to reassure myself that they haven't got away]

Live in a rural area so no. Left doors unlocked, keys in car.

Not wise tho, so am getting better at it.

Sounds like you could be suffering with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). We all forget things we do on autopilot but to keep checking that you have is a sign of OCD. If your concerned speak to your doctor.

My boyfriend leaves his door unlocked. He likes me being able to let myself in when I want.

Frequently check doors are locked and will double check shed locks & padlocks at least twice before heading indoors. Before heading off this morning, a few yards from the front door, had to double check it was locked

My butler still checks the locks. I'm too busy with the Goblin teas maid.

When we lived in Moseley we always checked the doors were locked.

Still got burgled, while we were at home and asleep. Fucker bust the kitchen window and had away with my iMac and an expensive camera (never found) and we knew not a thing about it till we got up next morning.

Lucky that it was only stuff, I guess and not violence. I honestly don't know how I'd have dealt with some desperate smackhead lowlife if he'd woken us up and I'd had to confront him.
