Plumber did the same to me, kept me hanging for the whole of the bank holiday weekend in August.

No problem with the workmanship when it was done but FFS how difficult is it to send a 30 second text or call.

It's arrogant, what makes this guys time more valuable than mine!

I had the same a few years ago, I was changing all of my bathroom and wanted help with the toilet.

He popped round to look at the job and promised to be round the next day, he never showed up.

I ended up doing all the work myself, took me a lot longer but not had any problems since.

I always used to turn up, I've even turned out on Christmas day when someone has had a emergency & charged no extra for it either.

Last emergency was my mother in law rang at 0300 one morning, with water cascading through her bedroom ceiling, a pipe had busrt in the loft. Thank god for plastic pex pipe and push-fit fittings!!!!

Shame people think it’s ok to make people in our community feel uncomfortable or kink shame them.

Twice in recent years I've been let down by plumbers who have previously done jobs for me. Makes me a bit paranoid. Did I unintentionally flirt with them and make them feel uncomfortable? Both were attractive guys. Only wondered/worried about this as an estate agent's photographer accused me of flirting with him in a later text and subsequently returned for a very nice blow-job.
