But I'll get wrecked on anything with anise at the drop of a hat.

I hated Pernod until my brother moved to Bolivia. They (and Argentina) love it, so I'm often forced to drink it there and got used to it.

"For me, it's got to be spirits, it's like drinking petrol, had nasty experience with Glenfiddich malt whisky once and was seriously ill for three days after."

On my 22nd birthday I went on a whisky cocktail binge. Every fucking one in the book, helped along by all the cocktail bars having staggered happy hours. Threw up three times in a nightclub around 2am and had a three day hangover.

Youth was not wasted on the young that night. Despite being young and indestructible I did my absolute best.

Locally made (in India) Indian "whisky". I'm surprised people actually survive drinking it, it's disgusting and dangerous.

I have one word for you. Bisongrass.

Best vodka ever! Drink it neat from the freezer at -5°C. No other vodka will come close again.

Oh I love anise drinks and drambuie, though not together.

Not much I don't like, but anything really sweet I'll avoid. Sweet sherry for example is pretty horrid.

Refused to stock or sell any of those in the various licenced premises that I have run. Apart from the horrendous smell, which will actually give me a headache, it plays havoc with the glasses they are poured into. A good many places keep separate glasses for these vile drinks, and wash them separately.

Lager. All brands of it. Don't get why it's so popular. It's that awful it causes the straight guys to start fighting with each other (i jest). I think you see groups of men drinking it because no of them wanted to be awkward and ask for something different when getting the round in

I did similar but I was 17. Shouldn't have been drinking. I came home hammered. I was throwing up in the downstairs toilet. My mother bless her was trying to encourage me to get rid of it. Her attention wasn't appreciated at the time and apparently I told her to fuck off. Which is never a good idea. A while later she told me what happened. Naturally I was mortified. I asked her what did she do. She said I know you wouldn't have said it if you weren't in that state. So if that's your attitude I'll fuck off and leave you to it. A good sport my mum with a sense of humour.

I'm still wary of whisky
