Had a meet recently where the guy had himself as athletic, I normally don’t meet without some sort of pic but on this occasion I didn’t bother. Got to his place and unless we are including sumo in athletic he was not as described. Would you carry on with the meet or walk away?

On another app a few years ago, was chatting to a guy, decent pics on his profile (only gives you an upload date, not a date taken) so invited him over.

I'd define athletic as able to keep thrusting till the vinegar stroke without needing a rest halfway through

To answer some of the questions. I walked away. It wasn’t just a little extra holiday weight (could have made a whole extra person) I’m not gym fit myself but I don’t claim to be. I have also done the same when a man, who advertised himself as athletic, arrived and I watched an extremely obese man walk from his car. When I politely pointed out that he clearly wasn't athletic, he told me I was referring to MY profile (which does not state athletic). It became farcical when I produced his profile and showed him the description and he still claimed that the profile was mine. Logic went out the window. In measured tones I suggested he hadn't got the hang of the site and in my profile details it clearly states I am not into overweight anyone.

He left.

If someone wants to skip that section, they will be prompted to put in something for all the blank sections, but not the body size bit, because it comes ready filled in.

They may be unaware that it says they are an athletic build

I generally apply the rule of thumb that if someone can't even be arsed to fill out a profile properly they're going to be a pretty rubbish shag. Just like crappy CVs go straight in the bin and people wonder why they can't get interviews never mind a job.
