Yes, there is a certain degree of fantasy in it. But I would suggest that much of the police behaviour - including a brutal interrogation to force a confession from an innocent, vulnerable young man - are not far removed from reality.

"A don doesn't wear shorts", for instance, where Carmine Lupertazzi tells Tony Soprano that wearing shorts at a backyard barbecue is unprofessional for a leader. I took that on board and make sure I never dress casually any more. | |||

"The Lincoln Lawyer on Sky had completely passed me by, I started it last week and now I’m about 3 episodes into season 2. I’m enjoying it. I’m generally not a fan of American dramas so for me to find this one enjoyable is quite a feat!" This is a good series well worth a viewing. | |||
