How far back should the media hunters go and what responsibilities have posters got for past unthought out view points,

A few weeks ago the forum was alive with knee jerk key board warriors calling for Farage to be hung drawn and quartered for things he said at school as a teen,

If we are to follow the same line with the exception this guy was not a half baked school boy when he called for the death's of Zionist then he should be shown the same treatment and sent packing not lorded by a politician .

But again shouldn’t everyone hit the media history delete button before posting sometimes , I know I should

The hypocrisy is amazing. It is well known that there are islamists spouting hatred, misogyny and homophobia every week in mosques around the country and on social media. Why does nobody take these guys on?

Yes this guy should ideally be kicked back to Egypt (unlikely due to appeals) but there’s a whole bunch of Muslim Brotherhood people who should also be kicked out.

At some point all the racist shit heads and their keyboard warrior mates will be banned.

This HATE is not normal and should not be tolerated.

...who do they come for next as a target - Gay men?

They can go back to the forum pages of the right wing media and shout into their own echo chamber.

Get him out and the thousands who arrived here illegally on boats, you know all those Dr's and Engineers.

Then we wouldn't have a health service stretched beyond it's means, we wouldn't have a housing crisis, and all those homeless veterans who are on the streets could live in the hotels in 5 star luxury.

While I do think he should be sent back, this is ultimately about one instance.

The real is the extreme incompetence and casual attitude of success governments and the civil service that have allowed this to happen. No wonder all trust is lost.

To those blathering about racism, this is about the security of our country. OK I accept that such a concept is alien to some of you, but for most people it is the first duty of government.

The Green Party I did have time for - I thought Caroline Lucas MP genuinely cared about Green issues - she has now left the House of Commons to be replaced by a small number of new Green MPs who are not a patch on her and as for the Leadership team of Zak Polanski, Mothin Ali & Rachel Millward well they all need put in straight jackets

Do you not think that MI5 and Special Branch have already infiltrated these places, with members on the inside. Only a couple of weeks ago there were two brothers jailed for planning a large-scale attack on the Jewish community in Manchester.

Whether they have or have not been infiltrated is not the point. They continue to be allowed to radicalise particularly younger men in mosques and online. I’m guessing the authorities have left it too late and are too scared to act. It defies belief

Individuals who adhere to ideology over rational thought possess the potential to become extreme, and it is likely that he belongs to this category. That said, many don’t have enough brain cells too such as farage and co .

It hasn’t been a month since Liebour politicians and the British Biased Corruption were calling for Farage’s head for allegedly making antisemitic remarks when he was at school. It's not a double standard. One has accepted, apologised and corrected their behaviour. The other has denied, lied and made a mockery of it whilst refusing to have the guts to proudly wear what he is on his chest. It's always the same with right wing, simply deflect and claim "whatabout". This is equally true of the hard left so there's no rose tinted glasses seeing one side over the other

It wasn't Labour or the beeb, it was a journalist who made the claims 12 years ago.

One of the people he was antisemitic too decided to speak out.

But nige decided to refuse to speak to the beeb because he won't admit he was wrong.

Just like his lying orange chum.

By the way, antizionism is not the same as antisemitism.

But hey ho, good old nige.

Just why is Starmer so delighted that such a potentially dangerous foreigner has made his way into Britain after years of detention in his native Egypt?

Because we all have freedom of expression, whether that be a muslim extremist or stephen lennon the speech is allowed, the actions subsequently are not. There are thousands of arrests each year because of hate speech and inciting violence which are consequences of being free to say anything and they're not just white people or innocent mums, they're also the extremists

Starmer posted his delight on Boxing day.

'I am delighted that Alaa Abd El-Fattah is back in the UK and has been reunited with his loved ones, who must be feeling profound relief.

I want to pay tribute to Alaa's family, and to all those who have worked and campaigned for this moment.

Alla's case has been a top priority for this government since we came to office.

I'm grateful to President Sisi for his decision to grant the pardon' - Keir Starmer 26/12/25 (3.7M Views)

And 'Henhouse/Fox' ... Alegorical .... Most people understand a simple allegory.

Get the point now .... or are you still fumbling about in the dark?

"yet another fox is being let into the henhouse ... and the already established foxes are breeding at an alarming rate.

Just why is Starmer so delighted that such a potentially dangerous foreigner has made his way into Britain after years of detention in his native Egypt?

The present government seems to have some very peculiar priorities and utterly bizarre attitudes when it comes to homeland security issues.

That is sensationalism at its finest. I'm actually impressed by it. Do you teach classes?

If you'd like to point out the actual inaccuracies in my sensational post ... For argument's sake, and all that jazz

Just why is Starmer so delighted that such a potentially dangerous foreigner has made his way into Britain after years of detention in his native Egypt?

Please point out any facts because you called our country a henhouse, an immigrant a fox, a group of immigrants foxes, claimed starmer is delighted (please enlighten us to how you saw his reaction or were present for it), made an unsubstantiated and inaccurate assessment of our security services all whilst not actually making any sort of point. I congratulate you on successfully making a salad, though most enjoy it with vegetables not words.

Boris made him a uk citizen, then the tories campaigned for his release ever since, which starmer carried on.

He celebrated the mans release after 12 years.

At the time he was unaware of the historic tweets.

"of course it shouldn't. He made a couple of tweets a few years ago which he apologised for. Typical right wing, populist bandwagon jumping by Jenrick and Farage two most apalling politicians we have.

Again, a perfect example of the double standards of the left. It hasn’t been a month since Liebour politicians and the British Biased Corruption were calling for Farage’s head for allegedly making antisemitic remarks when he was at school. And now they are willing to forgive someone who has actively called for the death of Jews and members of the Police. Two tier Kier at his best!

It's not a double standard. One has accepted, apologised and corrected their behaviour. The other has denied, lied and made a mockery of it whilst refusing to have the guts to proudly wear what he is on his chest. It's always the same with right wing, simply deflect and claim "whatabout". This is equally true of the hard left so there's no rose tinted glasses seeing one side over the other"

That's newspaper talk. The reality is getting my Australian ex wife into the country was a fucking nightmare. 6 months of paperwork and then a spouse visa with no recourse to public funds. A year later the right to work and use of the NHS. She was a qualified lawyer with cash in the bank too.

Not having this soft touch idea. It just isn't the case. Pure propaganda.

Yep, same here with my wife (from the US). People who think legal immigration is a cakewalk are living in a Daily Mail fairyland: it's stressful and expensive, even for the "right sort" of immigrant (white, native English speaker, shared religion and values)

I'm even more intrigued by your comment. Since making my post, I have discovered, via the lunchtime news, that he was granted British citizenship in 2021. Perhaps the powers that be, who granted this, had not heard his vile statements.

Yes a fair few people are of no asset to this country. However some were born here and could probably trace there ancestry back over a thousand years or more, so we are stuck with them. To become a British citizen whilst having been born in another country, is a privilege and not an automatic right. Hence why immigration has become a major issue and the Faragites are enjoying popularity.

This person may have apologised and tried to retract the vile things he said but do we trust his sincerity? I have my doubts

"Should his citizenship be revoked?"

Yes, and that of anybody who's ever used the language of violence with regard to another grouping.

I'd happily see all extremist Islamic clerics and racist gammons dumped on an island together so they could fight it out while the rest of us actually practice British values like getting along together.

I also think faith schools need to be dumped as an idea and religion to be seriously segregated into its own box and kept right out of public life.

Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has launched a review into what she calls "serious information failures" in the case of British-Egyptian activist Alaa Abd El Fattah.

In a letter to the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, Cooper said she, Sir Keir Starmer and Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy "were all unaware" of Mr Abd El Fattah's historical tweets, which they consider to be "abhorrent".

*Isn't it good how we have a government who, instead of lieing and trying to cover things up, actually act quickly, let us know how something happened, and actually seem to have a plan.

To be fair I didn't mention I haven't a clue about the case this thread is based on. I don't care either. I'm intrigued by the idea of assets to the country and where we draw the line on who is and who isn't an asset.

Oh thank goodness .... Another review!

They haven't let us know' anything ... Others pointed it out to them ... and they had to do a very fast U-Turn (yet again) .... Just another disastrous piss-up in the Starmer Government Brewery.

It makes me laugh when people use the bale 'U-turn' when a government respond quickly to an event, own it, and tell us what they intend to do. Would you prefer the government to ignore the matter, and sweep it under the carpet?

When it comes to matters of National Security - I'd prefer the government to get things right in the first place ... Instead of fucking up, and then when the fuck up is pointed out to them .... launching a review into why they fucked it up.

wait for the we inherited this problem , which of two tier keir’s minions will be first to use that flogged to death old chestnut

Well, there is the fact he was made a citizen by Boris and the tories campaigned for his release, so thats at least 3 tory pm's.

But its starmers fault?

How do you work that out? "

The due diligence to allow his entry into Britain is the present governments duty , to say they didn’t know his past is like saying the 9/11 guys only took lessons in landing.

Previous Tory and Labour ministers lobbied for his release that happened three month ago that should of been job done

You understand that the vetting of anyone coming here doesn't necessarily include posts on social media right? The due diligence is based around criminal history, medical history, references, education etc.

Yes because although there is freedom of expression and you can say anything you want to, there is no freedom of or from the consequences of what you say whether or not you're white british person or otherwise. There was no complaints when it was muslim extremists, only when white racists/cunts started getting arrested.

Cannot see any comparison between El Fattah and the British Royal Family. All monarch since, and including George III, have been born in this country. Some consorts were born abroad it's true. But they are hardly citizenship seeking foreigners.

I dont get why fools defend guys like him. There is something wrong with you if you defend a guy that openly hates you and want to end your way of life.

"Would you be deporting the weaklings who hate black and asian people via social media postings?"

Yes any visitor who is racist and encourages violence or crime should be removed from whatever country they are in.

Nice cock tho

"Farage should be also deported to USA .

Farage is a UK-citizen, born in Kent, so deportation cannot technically apply to him. Deportation typically applies to non-citizens.

Actually it does . Wasn’t Shamima Begum a British-born woman????

Her parents were Bangladeshi and using the same premise as Fattah's mother who was born in Britain, citizenship can also be determined by parentage"

The law is absurd regardless. The individual does not communicate in the language of his parents' homeland, having been born in England, yet he is sent to a remote location due to the authorities' inability to manage their terrorists. The terrorists are returned to a country he has never been while someone like Mo Farah is allowed to remain here despite his illegal status??? Is it because he is a gold medalist???? It is impossible to find humour in such nonsensical decisions.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

"

That version of the poem is incorrect. It was edited by the American Holocaust Museum in the 1950s due to the Cold War with the Soviet Union. The original version reads:

'First they came for the Communists, And I did not speak out because I was not a Communist'

So they just removed the Communists, and no one spoke out ... Because the narrative was that the Communists were coming after anyone who opposed communism.

The Socialists just looked the other way while shuffling uncomfortably from foot to foot.

And the Jews maintained that everyone else has been coming for them since the Neo-Babylonian Empire conquered the Kingdom of Judah

These days, everyone is convinced that various entities are coming for them ... and are constantly speaking out against whoever, or whatever they feel is snapping at their heels.

He is reported to have liked comments on the internet in the last few days that suggested the media attacks on him about his historic tweets / blogs are a Zionist slur campaign .
