I recall a junior school teacher disciplining the entire class with a plimsoll due to noise during a rainy break when we had to stay indoors. Unable to identify the culprits, the teacher had everyone bend over and administered a really hard whack on our derrieres, simply because he could!

Had a female teacher in junior school who used one to spank. She hit one lad so hard the shape of the plimsole was on his ass when he got home. His mother complained and the teacher was reprimanded.

She would probably be sacked these days.

We always wore black ones for PE in the gym at Primary school. Often called them Sandshoes too.

I dont remember ever seeing anyone in white ones.

Ours where white, and I had a sort of bottle with a brush that you "painted" them white with.

I now wear light blue ones.
