The Budleigh Salterton naturist beach is located at the far western end of the main beach in East Devon, officially recognized and indicated by Council sign.

The further you are from the town the better it gets. The beach is pebble so take something to lay on - the thicker the better. The map shows the actual beach but it is surrounded by cliffs and no way down from the coastal path or from Northview road that looks the nearest (you have to walk to the main beach and then along the shore to get to the nudists area). Park in the town near the beach. Official car park is short stay, so try and find some safe side street parking. Once at the beach, head west right if looking at the sea. The further west you go the more guys you will find.

Look for the first big rock fall and fallen tree. Action just past these and they slightly obscure the view from the rest of beach.

I would advise checking the tides and going there during low tide and staying away from cliffs as they are very unstable and prone to fall even in nice weather. Also, if you go far away during low tide, make sure you're not cut off on your way back during tide raising.

Answering questions I got via PM:

Q: Been trying to get there for ages, so looking at the beach you walk to your left?

A: Looking out to sea, you walk to the right. You will pass a big, official council sign making people aware they are heading towards a nudist beach.

Unsurprisingly, it's busier when the weather is nice! It's a beach, after all, so there's not much to do apart from sit or lie in the sun. Or have some fun, of course. Couples use it too, nearer the town end.
