Hopefully the weather will pick up soon and with that in mind is there anyone into walking/hiking that knows of any locations where you could get away with some nude walking/hiking?

If so, any further interest in setting up a little group of us in the North West area to do some naked walks both during the week and/or weekends?

I think you would have to takeserious considerations to the location, obviously keep away from the real popular locations, Rivington near the OP is an example of a no no but head NW of there to the likes of turton Moore or around the ramsbottom or Harlingen area and you can pick walking routes where you might not see another hiker all day or at least for a few hours. The Yorkshire moors would be the ideal location.

But more importantly, especially May onwards, would be insect repellent, smidge is my spray of choice, it's made to repel the Scottish midges but I find it works for most insects in the north of England

I’ve come across naked hikers and sun bathers whilst out riding out in the moors above Llangollen etc.

Don’t think they accounted for someone who often rides the “paths less trodden”

Have walked naked most of the way from Tockholes to Stones Bank. Once you leave the main track you can strip off and you’re unlikely to meet anyone else during the week. Can be a bit rough underfoot depending on where you go though.

I actually saw one guy doing exactly that not far from where I live. It was nice warm sunny afternoon last summer, I was driving over the moors, past a popular country pub and a place very popular with day visitors because of the panoramic views. I saw a guy walking towards me on the left. He wasn't completely naked, he was wearing hiking boots with socks, a hat and a backpack. Nothing else at all. He was just hiking along, seemingly without a care in the world, letting it all hang out. I actually saved the video clip of him from my dashcam footage.

Got up for the GP sprint race this morning. Once it had finished, all the family in bed, I went for a run. Ended up at a _ocal village and strip nude to walk through it. It was so lovely being stark naked, in the drizzling rain and under street lights

There’s lots of walking groups on True Nudist and also on British Nudism sites. BN has a calendar of events whereas TN is a bit more user-led groups. They’re non-sexual though as focus is on naturism
