I’m visiting Blackpool soon and have enjoyed W3 on my previous visits. Is Northwich sauna worth the 2 hour round trip, or should I stay in Blackpool and use w3 and the renewed Acqua? Thanks

Formby

You could visit both w3 and aquca for what it would cost to go to northwich.

It’s a great sauna and in all fairness knocks spots off W3 and Aqua but not sure I would travel all that way Blackpool can be busy at weekends, if it was during the week I would say definitely go to Sauna Sauna

I think it would take you more than an hour to get to Northwich from Blackpool - takes me over an hour to get to Bolton

I’ve never been but I’ve driven through the area . I live in Garstang and it’s at least an hour and a half just to get to the general area let alone finding somewhere to park so i think that realistically between the actual distance and various traffic details you’re probably looking at more like a 4 hour round trip.

By Blackpool Vic

Takes about an hour and 10 minutes,it's actually a near enough straight run on the M6 then the M56 I've been a few times and its worth it in my opinion

Thanks for the comments, Im very tempted to make the trip down. I’ve heard very good things about it. I’ll still have time for fun in Blackpool if I do.

I like the idea of the orgie rooms, the maze , pig pens and dungeon area, I stay in Blackpool 5 days in april and august , so might have a drive down to Northwich one of them days x

You make a convincing argument. It looks like I’ll be visiting Northwich

The other thing for me about Northwich is the sheer volume of guys.

I've been to w3 a few times and it's never massively busy with maybe a dozen or so guys in whereas most days at Northwich I'd say there's 100+ in
