Mine will be along the lines of :

"Did you get many presents?"

"What time is dinner?"

"Did you get the crackers?"

"What time are we eating?"

"I hope you got some nice presents?"

"Do you open them after lunch?"

"What presents did you get?"

"What time is dinner?"

"Are we having crackers?"

.

If I've stocked up on as much wine as the patience I have stored up, I'm gonna be anybody's by 1pm. Alas, the only thing getting stuffed this Christmas day is the turkey!

If anyone has elderly neighbours who are spending this Christmas alone, could they let me know as I've got a load of people coming over and could do with borrowing some extra chairs.

And any spare Tupperware wouldn't go amiss, as I'm bound to end up with lots of leftovers and hate letting good food go to waste.

Seasonal Felicitations in advance

I think a friend is coming again this year. Hopefully she won't slip on the stairs and break her ankle, like she did last Christmas day morning. We can sort a bed out for her downstairs and we have a downstairs loo. Can't risk it again. Last Christmas was ruined. She had to wait 10 days for surgery.

All being well. Eat, drink and be merry this Christmas

Just a fairly quiet Christmas at home hopefully, having endured 66 Christmases past, the novelty factor has well and truly gone, it's really a time for families with young children, although I still enjoy the traditional aspects, especially listing to the carols and dozing off by the fire with a glass of vintage port.
