Tail.. Help?

So I have bought a tail.. Its bright red with a white tip.

I've tried to dye it the same colour as my hair 🦊 but it's done absolutely nothing to it!

Why is this?

Not 100% sure but could it be the material it's made out of? I think a bunch of man-made fibres might struggle to take some kinds of dyes.

Well I think this one probably is as you say.. And I looked for a dark red one but they don't seem to exist!

The colour is probably incorporated in the fibre, not an external dye. The fibre will be polyester or nylon, so even to modify the colour, you'll need (for instance) a nylon dye. Which would perhaps work better with a neutrally-coloured tail. My horse tail is a light blonde and it could work with that.

I think your right! Think ill have to try the nylon dye or just put up with it lol
